Creative Process

1. Research & Shot Breakdown: Reviewed shot sequences and production notes to understand the required separations. Assessed complexity based on motion, framing, and FX overlaps.

2. Roto Strategy Development: Planned the workflow using a combination of manual rotoscoping and planar/point tracking. Built roto groups based on layering needs for compositors.

3. Detailed Matte Creation: Used Silhouette FX, Mocha Pro, and Nuke to create articulate mattes capturing detailed features like fingers, hair strands, and translucent fabrics.

4. Edge & Motion Blur Handling: Applied edge feathering, motion blur matching, and sub-pixel tweaking to maintain natural transitions between FG and BG across fast-moving action scenes.

5. Review & Adjustments: Delivered work-in-progress mattes for internal and client review. Incorporated feedback efficiently with version-controlled updates and consistent naming conventions.

6. Final Delivery: Delivered clean, ready-to-composite alpha mattes for multiple shots and sequences, meeting production deadlines with high visual accuracy.
