Position Overview:
We are currently looking for experienced Face Replacement Compositors to join our remote freelance team on exciting upcoming projects. This role requires precision, a deep understanding of facial motion, and strong tracking and compositing skills to replace or enhance actor performances while preserving realism and continuity.
Your responsibilities will include:
Performing seamless face replacements using Nuke and supporting toolsMatching facial expressions, lighting, and skin tones for accurate integrationWorking with tracking data to match head and camera motion accuratelyRetouching and cleanup to support facial blending and transitionsCollaborating closely with leads and supervisors to deliver high-quality results on tight deadlinesQualifications:
2–4 years of compositing experience in a professional VFX or post-production environmentStrong proficiency in Nuke is requiredExperience with face replacements, head replacements, or deepfake-style workFamiliarity with 2D and 3D tracking tools such as Mocha or 3DEqualizerA keen eye for facial motion, lighting consistency, and subtle detailsAbility to troubleshoot and take initiative when handling challenging shotsMust provide a demo reel showcasing relevant face replacement workNice to Have:
Experience with deep compositing, 3D relighting, or face geometry projectionKnowledge of Maya, Katana, or Houdini FXExperience with AI-based facial enhancements (e.g., using Synthesia, DeepFaceLab)Previous work on feature films, episodics, or high-end commercialsWe’re proud to be an inclusive, creative-driven studio where every pixel and every person matters.
